SELENITE: has been used for centuries to clear your space, body, and home. It is often attributed to purity and peace, closely associated with the crown chakra, which represents wisdom and spirituality, as well as the third eye chakra. Selenite is excellent to use when meditating or trying to achieve mental clarity, as it is believed to compel the person holding it to be honest with themselves.
Selenite is considered a high-energy crystal that vibrates at a high frequency. Despite being an incredibly soft stone, so soft a fingernail can scratch it, selenite gemstones are believed to be a stone of protection that wards the mind. It is commonly used by crystal practitioners as a way to cleanse the body, mind and spirit of negativity and self-limitation--as well as cleansing other gemstones being used in healing practices. On a more grounded level, Selenite can also be an amazing stone for shifting through energy blocks, bringing peace and purity to one’s head and heart, and generally just ensuring that you stay protected and connected to the world around you.
SAGE: According to recent studies, sage has powerful antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory qualities.Trusted Source Researchers are currently holding it under the microscope as a natural alternative form of assistance for a whole host of issues, including: depression, dementia, obesity, lupus, heart disease, cancer.
Dried sage, especially white sage, was traditionally used by Native Americans for a whole host of benefits, most specifically as a method of purification. This is the term that most often springs to mind when we hear the word “smudging.” Smudging is the process of burning dried plants or other natural elements and then using the smoke to cleanse themselves, objects, or even places.
PALO SANTO: It’s wood from a tree called Bursera graveolens, nicknamed Palo Santo, that grows in South America. For centuries, Palo Santo, which translated means “holy wood,” has been burned as an energy cleanser. South American shamans believed burning Palo Santo had similar properties capable of resetting energy that was tainted by negativity or conflict. It also is thought to neutralize issues before they ever start. It even has the power to attract sacredness and benevolence to a space. Whether it’s conflict at work or a stressed-out partner bringing you down at home, Palo Santo is said to show agitated and harmful energy the door (literally), bring in positive healing energies, and allow you to approach things with an unburdened mind.
AMETHYST: is a protective stone that provides relief from stress and anxiety. This stone helps to calm your mind and provide quality sleep at night. It interacts with your spirit at a high level, as a result, you might also get some pleasant or intuitive dreams at night.
GINGER EPSOM BATH SALTS: When Epsom salt is dissolved in water, it releases magnesium and sulfate ions. The idea is that these particles can be absorbed through your skin, providing you with magnesium and sulfates — which serve important bodily functions.
Epsom salt is good for the mind. Epsom salt helps stabilize mood and relieve stress, anxiety and depression. In fact, some researchers claim magnesium increases serotonin (happiness or relaxation hormone) production in the brain.
Epsom salt is good for the body. Epsom salt helps relax muscles and relieve pain in the shoulders, neck, back and skull. For example, by relaxing the muscles surrounding the skull, the magnesium in Epsom salt may help release a headache or migraine.
It only takes 15 minutes to feel the benefits, soaking in a delightfully warm bath. Add some flower petals for extra healing benefits.
